ARTICLE 4 — USER ACCOUNTS

4.2 You must provide accurate, complete information and keep it updated.
4.3 You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.
4.4 We may refuse, suspend, or delete Accounts at our discretion.


ARTICLE 5 — ELIGIBILITY

5.3 By using the Service, you confirm that you meet the age requirement.


ARTICLE 6 — USER OBLIGATIONS

Users agree NOT to:

7.2 By posting or submitting content, you grant socl.us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to display, host, modify, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating the Service.
7.3 You represent that your content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights.
7.4 socl.us may remove any content considered harmful, illegal, inappropriate, or in violation of these Terms.


ARTICLE 8 — PAID SERVICES & BILLING

8.1 Some features may require payment (subscription, one-time fee, upgrade, etc.).
8.2 All payments are processed through third-party payment providers.
8.3 Pricing may change at any time.
8.4 Refunds, if any, are granted at our sole discretion unless required by law.
8.5 Users must maintain accurate billing information to avoid service interruption.


ARTICLE 9 — LICENSE & PERMITTED USE

9.1 We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service.
9.2 The license does not allow:

  • Selling, redistributing, or sublicensing access to the Service

  • Automated or bulk extraction of data

  • Using the Service to build competing products

9.3 Violation of license terms will result in termination.


ARTICLE 10 — TERMINATION

10.2 Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to:

  • Security concerns

  • Non-payment

  • Abuse of systems

  • Legal requests

  • Or for ANY reason at our sole discretion
    10.3 Upon termination:

  • Your license to use the Service ends immediately

  • We may retain or delete your data as permitted by law

  • No refunds are owed unless required by law


ARTICLE 11 — PRIVACY & DATA

11.1 Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms.

11.3 Users must not attempt to access or misuse personal data of other users.


ARTICLE 12 — SERVICE AVAILABILITY

12.3 We are not liable for service outages or data loss.

We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

  • Fitness for a particular purpose

  • Merchantability

  • Non-infringement

  • Continuous availability


ARTICLE 17 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • socl.us is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages

  • Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, or $25 USD if no payment was made

This includes damages resulting from:

  • Data loss

  • Account termination

  • Service downtime

  • Unauthorized access

  • Errors or omissions

  • Third-party actions


ARTICLE 18 — INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless socl.us and its operators from all claims, damages, liabilities, legal fees, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your content

  • Your violation of laws or third-party rights


Updated ARTICLE 19 — GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
You agree that any legal action, claim, or dispute must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, unless otherwise required by law.


Updated ARTICLE 20 — DISPUTE RESOLUTION

20.1 Users agree to attempt informal resolution before initiating formal proceedings.

20.2 If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Dallas, Texas, administered under applicable arbitration rules, unless prohibited by local law.

20.3 Users waive any right to participate in class actions or class-wide arbitration.


ARTICLE 21 — MISCELLANEOUS

21.1 Severability: If any part of this Agreement is invalid, the remainder stays in effect.
21.2 No Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of rights.
21.3 Assignment: We may transfer these Terms to another entity. You may not assign your rights.
21.4 Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and socl.us.
